Chanyn and Kim have let you in on their Focus Words for the year and I want to share mine as well.
Focus words give you direction for the year. They help you form goals, as well as serve as a framework for your life.
I used this Focus Words Worksheet to help me work on my focus words. It helped me figure out how to incorporate each word into my life and goals. It also has a second page where you can print it out, write in your Focus Words and put it where you will see it every day. I have mine on my bedside table. It is the last thing I see before I go to bed and the first thing I see in the morning.
It’s the repetition of affirmation that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen. – Muhammad Ali
Fresh – To me it means fresh food, homemade cooking, eating in, gardening and growing our own food
Being outside, getting fresh air, fresh flowers outside and bringing them inside, going for walks, to the park
Fresh homemade cleaning products, more natural living
Explore – I want my family and I to explore our surroundings. I want to visit new places in our city. I want to explore our yard, to teach my kids how it changes with each season. I want to teach them everything I can. I also want to learn new things. I am learning to crochet. My daughter is going to start swim and gymnastic lessons. My son is going to start swim lessons. My husband is going to learn how to make outdoor furniture out of old things, repurpose items.
Organize – I love organizing! This year I want to continue on organization quest and get even more organized. I am making my Family Binder that will keep so many parts of my life organized. I want to share with all of you how to organize your busy life. I also need to do more organization in my home. Its always a work in progress.
