Fall is officially upon us and I couldn’t be happier!! Now I can make my favorite soups, stews, and chili and no one will look at me funny. Yes, I do make those foods year round. I could eat soup every day of the year! Even if its 90 degree outside!
In honor of fall, we will be enjoying some fall dinners this week. We will be headed out of town on Friday, so it’s a short week of favorite fall foods. But there is something here that is sure to please everyone!
Sunday: Pork Roast with onion, carrots and potatoes (Leftover pork shredded for BBQ Pulled Pork for the freezer)
- Monday: Stroganoff and roasted squash
- Tuesday: Vegetable Barley Soup, Homemade Bread (make apple and pear sauce!)
- Wednesday: Chili
- Thursday: Cheesy Potato Soup, Homemade Bread
- Friday & Saturday: Out of town!!!
What is your favorite thing to make for dinner for fall? Do you only serve it when it gets cooler, or do you serve it occasionally during the summer like me?
