Here at Cultivating Trio, we are celebrating Thanksgiving all week long. Today we remember our favorite memories and traditions. We hope that this will get thinking about your favorite traditions. Over the next few days each of us will talk about what we are thankful for this year. We find it so uplifting to list all the things we love and are grateful.
It’s time to join the writing party with LisaJo Baker and her amazing group of writers. Each week on Friday she gives us a word to write on. We write for five minutes, no editing and from the heart. Just let the fingers fly across the keyboard and see what spills out. Here we go!

My daddy, he’s grounded like the oak tree
My momma, she is steady as the sun
Oh you know I love my folks
But I keep starin’ down the road
Just lookin’ for my one chance to run

I’m drowning in all these amazing books that I truly want to read (this obviously doesn’t even take into account the online reading that is accumulating as well!) So I need to Continue reading

Leonardo DaVinci, Thomas Edison, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs and Betty White all have/had the same amount of time per day that you and I have. They all have made huge contributions to society. They created new ideas, industries, products and works of art. I just want to Continue reading
It’s Friday, we have survived the week. Bring on the weekend for some relaxation time. For me I get to have some Auntie time with my nieces who are almost two. And then I shall do some “ordinary” household chores and prepping for the following week. But I am getting ahead of myself…. Continue reading
